Chocolate Tofu Mousse (Vegan)
Hey guys! It’s been 1,000 years, but I’m back! I spent most of the day yesterday making Valentine’s dinner for my boyfriend and I and thought I’d share a bit. This is what I made for dessert, and as my elementary school teacher use to say, “It’s deSSert because it’s ‘so, so good!’” Stuff You’ll Need: 1 package of soft or silken...

Vegan Strawberry Banana Smothie
The other night my mother came home with a beautiful new blender. She was so excited she got right to making “Smoothies”. The only problem is….they were afoul. I’m not sure why she thought you can throw whatever you find in a blender with some ice an it’ll just turn out great. So I decided to put this up for those people who need a little push in the right direction...

So what DO vegans eat?
Every time I tell someone what a vegan is or what vegans don’t eat I will almost undoubtedly be asked, “So what DO vegans eat?” Even having been vegan for six years now I’m never sure exactly how to respond to that question (Maybe because it comes off as ignorant almost every time). So. This is about to be a response to the question I’m sure all vegans hear. This is...

Baked Ziti: Vegan
You guys know how much I love cheap, easy, yet tasty vegan recipes. I just so happen to be stuck at my house today (my car is kaput, a lady completely ran a stop sign and T-boned me. *sigh) so I decided to write a blog! :) This is SO good, and its an awesome replacement for a classic (not to mention, fattening) lasagna recipe. There are a few different ways you can make this ‘yours’....

Cute Ideas: Pt 2 (A Treasure Hunt!)
So for about a week now I’ve been telling my boyfriend about Blackjack, the friendly neighborhood pirate. I just happened to mention that Blackjack had told me something about some kind of treasure. When he asked what the treasure was I told him to ask Blackjack. And, in a few days, Blackjack will just so happen to answer ;P Firstly- we’re going to need a treasure map. Fortunately, for...

The Firefly Jar
So I was at the store the other day and I saw a bunch of Mason jars for sale. Of course, I knew I had to buy one and make something cute! 8) I took it home and mixed a bit of yellow paint and painted ‘fireflies’ around the jar (AKA: yellow dots). I finished by putting clear glitter glue on the fireflies to make them sparkle and wrote “The Firefly Jar” on the cap. Since I...

Handprint Painting
This is a little something I whipped up today. Its really meant to inspire ideas of your own. 8) The Stuff You’ll Need: (More or less) Paint Paper/Canvas of some sort (if you use paper, use thick paper) Masking tape (optional) Hands! These are the colors I choose, but its really up to you (I think something in black and white would be neat). I’m feeling a little fruity pebble...

Cute Earring Frame
I have a jewelry box that I like very much, its just not very…hum. practical. All of my earrings and necklaces tend to get tangled and then I have to spend precious getting-ready time to undo them. So I set out to solve this problem. My first answer being this… The Stuff You’ll Need: First of all you’re going to find whatever Frame you want to use. I just bought this...

Homemade Dandelions
So this is a neat thing to do, and easy to boot. 8) I’m going to show you how to make a basic dandelion and your creativity can take it from there. I personally think it would be cute to do a lot of them in different colors and stick them in a Mason jar or something. Anyway, here we go The stuff you’ll need: Scissors, Stick (/whatever you wanna use for a stem), and Yarn are your...

Baked Tofu: Peanut Style
So I’m guessing if you’re not vegan (or vegetarian) you’re pretty much writing this recipe off already. I think the majority of people who ‘don’t like’ tofu have never really tried it (or, if they have, whoever made it didn’t know what they were doing). If you’re one of those people I really hope you have the balls to try this, it is actually really...
